This week on the Hub Program Spotlight we would like to feature University of the Pacific Men’s Golf. The Tigers compete as part of the NCAA D-I in the West Coast Conference, and are led by head coach John Cook ([email protected]), who has been coach of the team for the past six years. In their history, the Tigers have finished in the top 15 of the NCAA National Championship tournament four times.

Recently, University of the Pacific Men’s Golf was featured in Golfweek for their outstanding practice facilities. Check it out here!

While University of the Pacific, like many other colleges, had their fall 2020 season scrapped, their Walter Chang Golf and Learning Center opened earlier this year.

The indoor practice facility features a conference room, kitchen, three hitting bays, swing analysis technology, and more. Totalling 4,200 square feet, the center is also accompanied by the Dr. Glen Albaugh Short Game Area. This outdoor facility includes three chipping greens and a putting surface, as well as seven bunkers. The Tigers now have more than one state-of-the-art place to practice!

We wish University of the Pacific Men’s Golf continued success in the future.
