The Mohegan Sun Junior Open was recently played on July 11-12 at Mohegan Sun Golf Club in Baltic, CT. It was a windy weekend which made scoring very tough.

The Tiger Woods Boys 16-18 Division played from 6,674 yards. Congratulations to Hub member Jacob Finard (Weston, MA, Class of 2021) for winning the championship with a +4 total of 148. Finard birded the last two holes to seal a two shot victory!
The Will Smith Boys 14-15 division also played from 6,674 yards. Congrats to Hub member Ryan Chang (Lexington, MA, Class of 2024) for shooting +11, 155 for the event and winning by two shots.
The Ernie Els Boys 11-13 Division played from 5,701 yards. Congrats to Hub member Will Gregware (West Hartford, CT, Class of 2024) for shooting E for the event, and an 8 shot victory with a two-day total of 144!
The Justin Timberlake Girls 14-18 Division played from 5,701 yards. At the top finished two players with a +12, 156 finish for co-medalist honors. Congratulations to Laetitia Roegner (Greenwich, CT, Class of 2021) and Hub member Leslie Li (West Hartford, Class of 2021)!
The Justin Rose Girls U13 Division played from 5,352 yards. Congratulations to Hub member Isabellla Salerno (Rye, NY, Class of 2025) for winning the championship by shooting a two-day total of 168.
We would also like to highlight some additional Junior Golf Hub members and members of The Golf Performance Center in Ridgefield, CT. The low finisher for GPC was Dan LeBlanc (Danbury, CT, Class of 2021) who placed 3rd in the Boys 16 to 18 Division with rounds of 78-74 for a 152 total. We’d also like to mention Chris Lang (Ridgefield, CT, Class of 2021) who posted his personal best tournament round of 74 in the 2nd round along with his personal best two day total of 153 finishing in 4th place. Also finishing in the top 5 was Marc DeGaetano (New Canaan, CT, Class of 2022) who finished in 5th place with rounds of 79-76 for a total of 155.
Hub member Tyler Vitolo (Greenwich, CT, Class of 2024), playing in the Boys 14 to 15 Division, improved by 11 strokes in the 2nd round shooting rounds of 88 and 77 to finish in a tie for 6th place.
Hub member Lydia Welborn (Stamford, CT, Class of 2021), playing in the Girls 14-18 Division, finished in 3rd place with rounds of 82-77 for a 159 total.
