(RIDGEFIELD, Conn.) – Junior Golf Hub (JGH) is pleased to announce a partnership with golf legend, Annika Sörenstam. Together, we aim to advance junior golf by increasing accessibility to playing opportunities and educational resources for young golfers worldwide.
JGH and Annika Sörenstam are building upon their shared passion of providing young people with greater access to the tools necessary to achieve their dreams. In this collaborative effort, they will provide all golfers with JGH’s proprietary Player Development Index (PDI) Assessment, which helps players improve by systematically identifying weak links that prevent them from realizing their potential.
“We are so excited to launch this partnership with one of the greatest golfers of our time. Annika is committed to helping develop the next generation of golfers” says Roger Knick, founder of Junior Golf Hub, “and her philosophy aligns with what we’re doing at the Junior Golf Hub to develop players to achieve their potential.”
“The Junior Golf Hub is pioneering its unique golf platform that encompasses the areas of performance, assessment, technical support, and networking in order to leverage the best opportunities for all junior golfers and their families,” says Annika. “I wish I had a tool like PDI when I was a junior, to measure and manage my development, but I hope I can help the golfers coming up today by putting it in their hands.”
A native of Sweden, Annika started playing golf at the age of 12. Since then, she has amassed over 90 worldwide victories, including 72 on the LPGA and 11 Major Championships. Annika is often regarded as the greatest female golfer of all time. During her 15-year Hall-of-Fame career, she rewrote the LPGA and Ladies European Tour record books, won countless awards, and changed the way women’s golf was played, viewed, and covered.
Since its inception, Junior Golf Hub has supported a community of over 50,000 junior golfers, a significant proportion of whom have advanced to participate in collegiate golf. Our comprehensive collegiate database encompasses 2,300 men’s and women’s golf programs.
