A Historic Invitation for TCU

TCU sophomore Camille Min-Gaultier earned a spot in the prestigious Augusta National Women’s Amateur. This marks the third time since 2021 a Horned Frog has received this honor. Her selection underscores the university’s strong presence in women’s golf.

Min-Gaultier has risen quickly in the collegiate ranks. She is now among 72 elite female golfers selected worldwide. Coach Angie Ravaioli-Larkin calls this event the “Masters of women’s golf.” She believes the invitation proves Camille’s lifelong dedication to her game.

The Road to Augusta National

The tournament runs from April 1–4, 2026. This schedule places the event just one week before the Masters. Players will compete in the first two rounds at Champions Retreat Golf Club. This exclusive course in Georgia offers pristine playing conditions. Afterward, the top 30 players will advance to the final round at Augusta National.

A Rising International Star

Min-Gaultier handles high-profile pressure with ease. Originally from France, she began her golf journey at age eight. She has already competed at the highest amateur levels. For instance, she played for the 2025 Continent of Europe’s Vagliano Trophy team. Additionally, she tied for ninth at the U21 French International Lady Juniors.

During the 2024-2025 season, she became the Big 12 Freshman of the Year. She also earned WGCA All-American honors. These achievements solidified her reputation as a rising star in the sport.

Focusing on the Experience

Min-Gaultier remains humble and focused heading into April. She wants to have the best experience possible at the tournament. “Of course, I want to win,” she stated. However, she primarily feels grateful for the opportunity.

She follows in the footsteps of former TCU stars Sabrina Iqbal and Caitlyn Macnab. Both players represented the university in previous years. Macnab notably tied for 27th place in 2023.

Building a Lasting Legacy

The TCU community continues to rally around its standout sophomore. Her invitation highlights her individual talent and hard work. Furthermore, it shows the strength of the TCU Women’s Golf program. The university continues to nurture world-class athletes for the global stage.
