Asterisk Talley is a highly respected player. Specifically, she leads in all significant national junior rankings. At the tender age of 17, she holds the No. 10 World Amateur Golf Ranking.
Her remarkable portfolio includes a recent triumph at the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley. There, she clinched her second title. This feat mirrors that of Russell, her upcoming caddy. He also secured his second win at the South Carolina club earlier. Furthermore, Talley finished as a runner-up at the previous Augusta National Women’s Amateur. This remains in the memories of golf aficionados.
Russell: A Familiar Face at No. 1
Miles Russell is also no stranger to the No. 1 position. He shares the top rank with Talley in multiple major rankings. Currently, Russell is positioned 8th in the men’s World Amateur Golf Ranking.
He has already verbally committed to Florida State. Meanwhile, Talley is set to sign with Stanford this coming November. Their collaboration actually extends past the upcoming tournament. Previously, they teamed up at the Junior Ryder Cup. There, they recorded a 1-0-1 performance.
